Grey water collection from the gym and re-use for toilet/urinal flushing, efficient light fittings and motion sensors, Ice-storage to reduce the energy peak demand, drought resistant plants minimising the need for irrigation and CO sensors in the basement to minimise ventilation fan energy are of few of the unique aspects of this building.
Another unique area are the main staff restaurant which caters for 2500 meal occasions daily and as such the flow and equipment placement and the type of equipment used to fit in with the green building perspective was of paramount importance.
B2B fitted out the main kitchen (both Back of house and Front of house) the separate function kitchen (and adjacent function area), and all staff pause areas.
B2B is still actively involved in equipment placements and Warren is a well known figure around the building as he follows up to ensure that no element of service is compromised due to potential equipment issues.
